I am using here scenes from the ballet Giselle performed by the Stuttgart Ballet and the Royal Ballet. It is said that because the producer Shekhar thought that this Lata – Manna Dey duet sounded similar to the popular Lata – Manna Dey duets from the film Chori Chori, he decided to exclude it from the film. Madan Mohan borrowed the instrumental parts of this song from one of Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dances.
